FUR-EVER FRIENDS

Over a year ago, we decided to support a local cause at each concert we organize in the country, whether it be a social cause or one related to animal protection. Since then, we have managed to promote and invite more than 20 NGOs to our events, most of them dedicated to animal protection.

Although our initiative has been more successful than we expected (you made donations, adopted animals, and volunteered to help in any way you could), this year we have learned many things. We realized that the lives of those who rescue animals are especially difficult, and abandoned animals face immense challenges. We gained a deeper understanding of the ongoing problems faced by each community, problems that cannot be easily solved.

For this reason, we have decided to stay committed and continue this initiative because, without long-term involvement, our actions will have only a marginal impact. Therefore, we have decided to turn all of our achievements so far into an awareness campaign called Fur-Ever Friends, to show that there is the will and involvement to address these issues. We want to highlight the extraordinary people behind these associations, people who deserve all our support. We are aware that there are many other associations that deserve attention, but the Fur-Ever Friends campaign is just getting started.

Thus, every few days, we will present a video dedicated to an animal protection association, giving you insight into their work and the challenges they face. Each association will be “adopted” by a public figure. If you live in that community and care about the fate of abandoned animals, we encourage you to visit them and offer your support. We are sure that both the people and the animals will appreciate your help.

On the occasion of DIRTY FEST BUCHAREST, which will take place on October 25-26 at Club Quantic, the volunteers from these NGOs will be present at the festival, available to talk to you about their actions and the challenges they face. Perhaps most importantly, you will have the chance to meet these wonderful people in person.
